(European castles are dark and gloomy inside)

    ????

You've been visiting the wrong castles. Anyone knows this one? It's probably the most famous castle in the world and it was one of the worst names to spell, if you aren't german.

Neuschwanstein Castle is really a slip of taste, booh! A la Disney. ;)

Btw, a lot of Japanese hold heir weddings at Neuschwanstein, at least have some wedding pics taken there during honey-moon.

    My first post. YEss..

Well, Im a military brat. Stationed at Camp Zama to be exact. Ive been to Europe before and lived in the states for a couple years. But I swear...when we moved to Japan..it totally was a culture shock. How everything was just so different and unique from the Western World. Everything attracts me to the Japanese culture. My wife is even Japanese (originally from Tachikawa, Tokyo)...I love Japan...there's just too many words to describe it. I always tell my friends in the states to go to Japan and see how the world is over there.

Most famous? On this site it says Neuschwanstein is the most famous. I don't know which is, but Neuschwanstein surely looks better.

I like Many Aspects of Japanese culture. One of the major things has got to be food, since I tend to eat a lot but remain the same. Sure, I'll admit to liking anime and manga as well. I'm studying Game design in College and was hoping to get a job in the country when I graduated. The language barrier might present a problem, but I have been trying to learn. I would like to be able to visit the country in the near future, But my current employment barely pays the tuition (I wish I was a Visa.. Then I could be anywhere I want to be..). I would olike to able to speak with someone in the country to kinda get a true, unclouded view of it. Don't hesitate to contact!

Well, it started classicaly, with anime and then manga. Butr soon my interests spread...because I studiet fine-arts. I am interested in japanesse painting but as well in modern graphic and proiduct design, because the ideas are so fresh and intraditionall and japanesse traditional in the same time. And I am interested in japanese history, mostly the heian time and then the bakumatsu and meiji-revolution-times.Well and I love japanese food, I have chopsticks at home and I eat just everything with them. I like, how the food looks like, but I also like the taste, it is not so sharp as the chinese or vietnamese kitchen, but delicious.
And lately I listen to j-rock, but I love the traditional music too, but it is really difficult to find.
