Was there no temple at all in Tokyo between 1945 and 1958 ?
According to info on the Web, the Shakado Hall was built in the Muromachi Period (1336-1573). It is designated Important Cultural Property.

The temple itself was founded in the 9th century. There is no info on how many times it had been rebuilt or on whether the temple was standing between 1945 and 1958. It's best to ask the head priest of Enyu-ji.
