Deal with it like you would anyone who is deeply socially and emotionally delayed (NOT retarted ), whom I would consider almost a small child trying to survive in a grown up world, and it isn't being malicious or resentful by saying that but I think it is probably very close to the crux of the matter. Plus, it takes most of the sting and zap out of their vaunted powers.
