How tall are you ?

I don't know exactly but I took a rough guess at 5'9'', but it might be 5'10''. It was funny at school 'cos I was the shortest for my age up until I was about 15y.o. Then I got bored of being short I guess.

I was still called 'Little Jon' even though I was taller than a lot of 'em.

They're not quite right. For example, 175 is closer to 5'8" than 5'9".

Always was 5ft8in and at 50 started with the age &
spinal shrinking bit. Now at 54 , down to 5FT 7IN; if I live long enough, might make it to dwarfdom!

nah, its still not taught in school. we learn what it is and why its better but thats about it. so most of the general public has no idea how high 171cm is, or their own weight in kg. though our cars have both mph and km/h on the speedometer.
i've been trying to learn metric units for awhile now. i can for the most part freely convert speed, distance, weight, height and temperature between the two. but most of it is still relative to me, as im not quite sure what the metric measurement is until its converted into american units.
