    Yes, people in the medical field and other science fields use the metric system, but generally, it's not taught in our school systems. At least, it's not taught anywhere around here. Maybe they spend 10 minutes on it one year and that's all. I think it's a real handicap, because everybody else in the world uses it, and yes, I also feel it is more accurate.

    I'm around 5'3" or 5'4"...I feel really short compared to my friends in school, but I do see a lot of ppl that are older, but shorter..and that comforts me XDD..I don't mind the shortness...I'd just rather be taller..I usually end up wearing tall shoes bcuz of it..lol ^^

    I'm just about 1.800 - the heel of a cowboy boot under six-feet!

    My wife is .... (just...) 1.500 - 4'-11" - we look quite ridiculous together ... !

    (It wasn't so bad in the 'sixties - she used to wear incredible stilleto heels that almost brought her up to my chin .... !)

    Those were the days !

    I have been called small on several ocasions, all of which I have replyed with a "who are you calling so small (fill in the blank)"

    perhaps if I didn't react so much they would stop bothering me
