It is famous Chinese poem written in Song dynasty .
it is:
the author of this poem had been to korean in 1083, in 1085 he was back to China.
None of us here is proficient in Japanese, can't help on translation.
Famous Chinese works of poetry already have translations in Japanese:

In Japan, the poem as written in Chinese (at top of the website page) is written as is and "read orally" in Japanese as shown below it. This requires practice and is part of "kanbun" (漢文) practice (taught in high school and for Japanese literature majors on the university level).
HTH!
We do know Tang poems are still taught at both Japanese and Korean schools to this day, poems from Song Dynasty era as well ... interesting !
I bookmarked the site for future reference.

I live upriver and you live downriver.
I miss you day after day but can't see you, though we eat the same river water.
when will the water end? and when will the miss be over?
I wish you miss me just like I miss you, we do have each other in mind.
