    Tokyo's most popular residential areas (for Tokyoites)

    Here are the results of the survey led in 2004 by Tokyo Walker magazine. 2300 people and the 3 largest real estate agencies in Tokyo were asked "what district of Tokyo they preferred" 「一番住みたい街ランキング」. Here are the most popular areas according to individual and real estate agencies' surveys :

    I used to live within walking distance of sangenjaya and shimo-kitazawa. It was a great place to live and I'm glad I found that place.

    I like Shimo-kitazawa a lot as well, it can just be a hassle to get around with that ground level rail line next to the station.

    Awww Shinjuku wasn't on the list sob sob Well at least 位 麻布十番 Asabu Juuban was on the list thou hehe. Anyhow, how was it to live near Sangenjaya?
