    Gap year teaching!

To be honest with you, I had my heart set on Japan, however I've just been informed that to teach English in Japan I will need a Degree from an English University. I don't have one.

I don't think this is the case for China, I think the expectations there are A-levels (which I will have!) Although you're going to be somewhat bias... would you recommend a year (perhaps more) in China teaching English? Anyone with actual experience in the field?

    Thank you,
    Harry.

Legally in China all foreign teachers should hold a bachelors degree. Some schools do things to get around this restriction, but you should relize it will put you at their mercy.
