She is cute and sings very well. She is maybe a bit childish (she is 17), but by Japanese standard she is very promising.

Anyway I don't know much about her but I thought some of her songs were kinda catchy. sing: Well, she does act childish but I mean it in a good way. The 1st time I saw her was when I watching Hey Hey Hey!

I love MAYAYA....that is, Nakai Masahiro dressed up as Matsura Aya and lip syncing to her songs....mayaya is most definatley superior. If you haven't seen it, it's a really excellent SMAPXSMAP skit!

ok uhh, one of Ayas' songs, i dont know the name, so i describe it. in the AV, she is wearing bright bright orange, yellow and blue, she is in a room that is colored the same. the song is really hyper and fun. anyways, i hope you know what im talking about. well today, i wanted to use my head phones while listening to the song, the headphones are really weird so they emphasized certain aspects or sounds/voices in the song. during the song, i heard some guy going "ohh yeah" a few times, but then i head this guy singing along with her, but it is very faint even with the head phones. i couldn't hear this before but he would only sing during the lower toned parts of the song. it is very creepy hearing it so now i dont listen with head phones! lol

I haven't seen that much videos of Aya. But the video for Ne~e has Aya in a bright orange room looking for different clothes to wear, and there's this little doll house that they zoom in with little Aya dancing in this bright orange puffy looking dress thing.

Is it that one?
