What sort of paper is this? As in, what is the aim of your research? From what I know, the terracotta army was built to resemble the bodyguard of Shi Huang Di, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty, and the first official dynasty of a unified China. This is the same guy who built the Great Wall. His tomb is nearby, but has yet to be excavated, as far as I know of.

As an historian, there is a vast gulf between Chinese and Western scholarship regarding Chinese archeology. The Chinese are very reluctant to have Western scholars examine their sites, because of 19th century European archeologists ransacking many artifacts for their museums. Western historians and archeologists are also skeptical of Chinese scholarship, partially because of its tendency to exaggerate events and/or findings in order to make their history seem more impressive and glorious, like the Xia-Shang-Zhou Chronology Project (the head of which was recorded as expressing remorse that Egypt has a longer historical record than China.
