Well you got the love you bit right, but not the word I.

    Should read:I love you:我愛你

    Chinese Pinyin: wo3 ai4 ni3

it's the pernounciation thing, because every word with the same romaji or whatever you call that. has four pernounciations, so those numbers indicate which pernounciation it is , so when you say it, others won't mistaken it for another word

^^ I'm guessing the tonality or pitch of the phoneme, and are you going to tell a girl that you love her!? That's pretty adventerous! ;)

They're tones. 3 is a dipping, down then up tone. 4 is a sharply falling tone.

    I speak cantonese.
    "予" doesn't mean "I"
    "予" , as I know , has a same pronunciation with "汝"
and "汝" is a old fanshion chinese which mean "you".
It just like Shakespeare words in English. It is a very old fanshion Chinese that people no longer use in daily life.

actually, chinese is universally written the same. exactly the same. any literate chinese person can communicate with any other chinese person (even if they are speaking in another dialect) by writing.

That's an awesome name for a gal,it literately means " lovely flowers full moon " LOVELY FLOWERS under the FULL MOON.

By the way,my Chinese first name is Kanji word for LOVE with the Chinese character FEMALE/GIRL to the left of it.My pop was quite creative naming me,I haven't met any Chinese with this " unique " name to this day.

Aiko is my Japanese romaji spelling.
