How`s it like working in China?

Just read the threads and wonder if anyone is a foreigner who has worked in China before? Any tips to share?

I've lived and worked in China for two years. Previously to that I was born American and travelled and educated partly in Europe.

China is a land of negotiation. Depending on your choice of city, province or buisiness partners everything about your experience will be different.

Don't expect outright fair treatment, but don't think you can't get it either.
Don't go if you have soft skin or easily hurt or can't stick up for yourself.
Don't go if you can't be flexable either..

Thinking about this topic, maybe I could write a book..
