I trim there regularly with scissors. It's just part of normal hygiene for me. Shaving is not recommended as the hair can become *****ly. I also trim underarms with scissors as it really does help to minimize odors.

edit: why the heck is p r i c k on the auto censor?

Agree... I've never seen a guy who was shaved 'down below' but I can imagine.........
    *does so* ..................................................
No, no, guys should keep their hair... but as I've said before, a little trimming never hurt anyone.... (or did it?)

I don't agree. I've never seen a guy trimmed before, and I can't imagine such sick practice.

You never know. It's not a perfect world, and the floors are slippery when wet. The hair stylist, while admistering the mighty snip-snip might slip, inadverdantly cutting a major portion off the customer... Anybody with statistics ? *rolls on floor*

H: True I am not you, and I cannot know. Likewise, I know you're not, therefore I know you don't.
Z: You asked me how I knew implying you knew I knew. In fact I saw some fish, strolling down by the Hao River, all jolly and gay.

Trimming is okay, as long as a lawnmower isn't used. But shaving is a different story.

To Mycernius: From my experience, a majority of Japanese women do not like much hair on a guy. This includes facial hair also, which is why I shaved my moustache back in the day. I did date one J-woman though that said she really liked hairy men, especially men with hairy chests. She said it felt so soft and cuddly when she rubbed her face on a hairy guys chest. I guess that, as I didn't have hardly any hair, we only dated twice.

And everytime I broached this subject, they would be genuinely surprised and say that they had never known anyone that did this.
You haven't met my Japanese wife!

I also find it quite revolting. I was told by a Japanese woman that only prostitutes and other "unsavory" women shaved down there. She said that "good girls" didn't do that and most Japanese men would not think highly of a shaved woman. I was really surprised that most Japanese women had really thick bushes. Even today, from some of the X-clips I have glanced at on line that most still have the bush. Uggh! Even men I have glanced at in the onsen or public bath seemed to not even trim at all.

Probably more information than you need, or want to know, but here goes. Both me and the wife are as clean and smooth down there as the day we were born! You wouldn't believe how sensitive the skin can become there! It's not rough at all. First use scissors to trim as close to the skin as possible. Then just use your razor. It may seem uncomfortable at first and will probably itch the first few days and a few bumps may develop, but if you do it at least once a week you won't even notice it. After a while, when the hair begins to grow back it will not even feel rough or stubbly. It will become very soft even for as short as it is. As for the "sack" area, the skin should be tight and a shaving razor (after trimming first!) will do the job quite smoothly. No nicks or cuts. The wife does it twice a week. She said it itched at first, but that soon passed. After more than 10 years of being "clean" she, and I for that matter, find it very uncomfortable to have hair in that area. However, before returning to Japan we do let it grow for 2-3 weeks beforehand so we won't look too weird at an onsen.

Yes and the women are ALL smooth also these days.

By "sick" do you mean mentally ill or perverted or disgusting? It works for us and we both find it very erotic and stimulating, and like I mentioned, it is oh so sensitive to the touch. After more than ten years of practicing it, it has become normal for us. Try it, you just may discover a new sensual experience!

I'd rather dump battery acid on me instead.

I think he said the opposite. He preferred unshaven.

Pachipro just.. that was a lot of information... a lot of.. information.... *blush*

Chiaki Fan Liam; burn the hair off!? I never thought about that one...

Is there a way to remove your body hair so that it will never grow back, though? And I'm not talking about BURNING it off or using ACIDS of any sort or stuff like that. Does laser remove the hair permanently?

Starwars is also cool. Chewbacca does some good acting and is friends with Han Solo + he's hairy. Therefore, he is cool! Just practice the growling and you'll be as cool as Chewie! I guess, being hairy isn't all that bad...?

That's one thing that I'm definitely blessed with, NO BACKHAIR. However, I'm stuck with loads of chest, stomach, arm, leg, and "ahem" hair. Why do ladies have to discriminate against the hairy ones?

my (J) girlfriend's never even mentioned the hair on my arms and my hairier legs, i wouldnt say im the missing link, but ive got enough hair on my arms and thick enough hair on my legs to notice but nope, she wasnt bothered.

as for pubic hair, very few of us have the choice of our perfect partner, i would say, i COULD do without a womans pubic hair but it doesnt really effect the flow of things much.

she does however point out the kawaiiness of my hair in its natural state.....suffice to say its perma gelled in a style befitting my sub-cultural orientation, or is covered in a beanie (a kind of hat).
