If there is one kind of foreign sweets that the Japanese like it is chocolate. And who says chocolate says Belgian pralines. Luxury department stores in Japan all sell Belgian chocolate. The fun part is that each has a contract with a different brand, so that you don't find the same pralines everywhere (that would be boring), but can discover new delicacies every time you enter a new department store.

Note that Neuhaus and Pierre Marcolini have their own stores in Ginza and Tokyo Station. Galler also has independent shops in Nishi-Shinjuku and Yurakucho.

Leonidas has 7 independent shops in Tokyo (Ginza, Akasaka, Azabu Juban, Daikanyama, Kichijoji, Kagurazaka, Iogi).

Godiva has 59 shops in total in Tokyo (without Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa), including in all the Atre department stores, as well as in Matsuya, Matsuzakaya, Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya in the suburbs.
