Surprising, isn't it ? Scientists have tested blond-haired mummies found in Northern China and tested their DNA. There is no doubt, they are not Asian but European. Found the article here (http://s8int.com/page26.html)


This (http://s8int.com/WordPress/?p=472) other article says that the villagers of Liqian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yongchang_County) in the province of Gansu in China claim to be descended from lost Roman soldiers. They still have typical European features after centuries of mixing with Chinese, like fair eyes or longer noses. But DNA tests are not conclusive in this case.

Oh ... this explains some 5% Caucasoid genes in Chinese population :P

Funny,I also read some online postings that they have met 1 or 2 Mongolian national(s) have blue eyes.:?
