Japan's 101-year-old bar maid (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/2947500.stm)

A bar maid who turned 101 this month is attracting attention in Japan.
Hideko Arima, who still works at her tiny bar, Gilbey Ai, in Tokyo's Ginza district, told the French news agency AFP that she began work in 1948

And remember also that :
Last week, 70-year-old Yuichiro Miura became the oldest person to climb Mount Everest.

There's another geriatric record:

Elderly robber strikes in Tokyo - An 80-year-old man has robbed an 84-year-old woman at knifepoint in Tokyo

Yes I have to admit it proudly , japanese elders are very active , and thankfully , genki!!!

I mean , old people of the ages of 60 and 70 ride bicycles and speed too :balloon: !

many really old people whom back are bent , yet you see them carrying on their regular shores , not needing or asking for help.

Even the other day a really old japanese guy fell infront of me while we were walking down in kichijoji. And it was one hell of a fall *poor guy" And I thought "Oh no now he's over" But he just stood up , collected his fallen stuff with a smile and moved on :cute:

Wow , now i really feel I've got much to talk about this , Thank you for opening this subject!!!

There are also Tai Chi and Chi Kung masters in their 80s in China who can soundly thrash those in their 20s.

I hope there are no topless dancers over the age of 80. :p

I love that 80 year old mugger.
Somehow that kind of elderly on elderly crime appeals to me.

Can you see an 80 year old european dude holding up an 84 year old european lady?.. NO because they're both DEAD!
