Positive aspects of the product (pros): charming good for the children
Cons: plot childish, seems like it needs more...

very imaginative, shows plenty of creative and enjoyable scenes. Is something good for the children to enjoy. I suggest renting it at a local video store to see if you really enjoy it before buying.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fast paced. Good characters
Cons: Short film and lacking something

I really liked this film and ranks as one of my favourite Ghibli films. Saying that I find its short and lacking a certain something. Good intro for children if you want to get them to see films beyond disney. Good soundtrack and enjoyable ending song.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Female protagonist; events matured girl; cute cats
Cons: protagonist's transition from immaturity to maturity needed more development

Story had more potential than this. It seemed like Miyazaki lost interest and wanted an ending...any ending. Haru's development to a maturer girl needed more "development". Nevertheless, I like the notion that if you do not know yourself or only find your identity through what others believe or say about you then you can lose yourself and become what the others want you to be.

Oh yeah Muta was hilarious.
