Japan has decided to introduce a missile defence system to shield itself from a possible attack. It has said that the deployment would be purely defensive and there was no intent to harm other countries. Japan's Defence Agency said it would allocate $6.5bn over the next five years towards installing two American-made anti-missile systems.
